My name is Mrs. Joas and I was born and raised in Frisco, TX! I loved attending all Frisco ISD schools and it helped me to become the teacher I am today. I am married to my high school sweetheart, who is a Frisco Fireman. We have a little dog named Stella, who loves to play all day long. I grew up with three sisters, my parents, and my grandparents. I loved living with a big family and we are all really close to this day. I love to spend time with them and my nieces and nephews! I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a child, and I know it is what I’m meant to do. I am a lifelong learner and I love learning along with my students.
I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce in June 2018 with my bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies. I’m certified to teach kindergarten through sixth grade. During my year of student teaching, I was able to teach third and fourth grade. Last school year, for three months, I taught first grade here at Taylor Elementary as a long-term substitute and enjoyed every minute of it. The rest of the year I spent being an extra teacher in fifth grade. I’m so excited to continue my time here in fourth grade at Taylor Elementary! One village, every child!
